David Beckham is known as one of the most popular professional football players. However, his achievement as an athlete is not the best thing about him. It’s his kind heart that makes him a standout.

Being a football legend, Beckham has always been popular among sports fans. But even though he’s very popular, he makes sure he remains humble and even shares his fortune by raising millions for charity groups. But his kindness doesn’t stop here.
During a cold Monday in central London, cyclist paramedic Catherine Maynard spotted an elderly man who needed some help.
The man was reported to have fallen in the road. Maynard stayed by the man’s side and tried to keep him warm as they waited for an ambulance to take him to the nearest hospital.
Little did Catherine and the old man know, Beckham had already spotted them 10 minutes prior; and when he returned, he brought them hot drinks to help fend off the chilly weather.
Catherine shares the story in a post. It reads,
“I was waiting with my patient for an ambulance to transfer him to hospital and although I was keeping him warm it was very cold outside. All of a sudden, I looked up and saw someone who looked like David Beckham walking past us. He said hello and got in his car. I said to the man I was treating, ‘I think that was David Beckham.’ Ten minutes later, he came back with a cup of coffee for me and a tea for the patient. We were both very amused and flattered. It was awful cycling around in the cold, and I couldn’t believe it when he came back with some hot drinks. I was so chuffed.”
There’s not a lot of popular figures that would act as Beckham did. A lot would have simply ignored them and wouldn’t even lend a helping hand. But for David Beckham, it was all in a day’s work!
