Eye Island: Rotating Piece of Land Might Be Secret Alien Base
In the marshes of the Paraná Delta lies the perfect circular island called The Eye. It is surrounded by a small channel of water and is said to rotate from time to time. The peculiarity of this island has fascinated scientists and conspiracy theorists, with the latter claiming that it could be a camouflage for a massive alien base lying beneath the surface.
The Eye was first discovered in 2016 by Argentina-based filmmaker Sergio Neuspillerm, who spotted it while making a horror film about UFOs in the area. Sergio and his production team were so intrigued by the island that they abandoned their previous project to launch a new one that explored the mystery behind The Eye. They subsequently launched a Kickstarter in hopes of funding their research. To date, the group has garnered over $9,000 donations, which is a far cry from their $50,000 goal.

The island is a circle of land surrounded by a channel of water. The hole in which it lies measures around 120 meters in diameter. You can check out Eye Island by typing in these coordinates on Google Earth: 34°15’07.8″S, 58°49’47.4″W.
“When locating this reference in the map, we discovered something unexpected that left the film project in the background, we call it The Eye,” Sergio said in the video. “The Eye is a circle of land surrounded by a thin channel of water with a diameter of 130 yards. Both circles [the water and land] are so perfect that it is hard to believe that this is a natural formation.”
But before you conclude that this strange sight is indeed proof of extraterrestrial life, skeptics have pointed out similar formations have been spotted around the area. There is also a similar floating island in Prasha Lake as well as another one in Minnesota’s Nokassipi River.
