Sahar Tabar: Teen Believed to Have Gone Under the Knife to Look Like Angelina Jolie Speaks Out
Everyone can sigh a breath of relief because the world now has one less bizarre person to worry about.
Sahar Tabar, the Iranian teen who once claimed she had undergone 50 surgeries to look like Angelina Jolie has now admitted that she faked the whole thing. Tabar said she achieved the bizarre look using “technology and makeup.”
When photos of Tabar first emerged last week, she faced an army of backlash online. Harsh commenters didn’t hold back with their insults, with most of them calling the teen a zombie.

But suspicions of Photoshop started to arise after eagle-eyed pointed out that her extreme look was fake. 19-year-old Tabar confirmed this in an interview with Russian news outlet Sputnik.
“Now I can see that I have something in common with Angelina Jolie, but I amuse myself, and to look like someone is not my goal,” she explained. “Every time I post a photo, I make my face more fun and funny, it is a form of self-expression, a kind of art.”
Tabar’s Instagram account is filled with snaps of the teen and her bizarre zombie Angelina Jolie looks. While the pictures have delighted her fans, not many people are onboard with it. Just last week Belgian website Sud Info said that Tabar had purposely lost 40 kg to look like the Maleficent actress. And even though Tabar clarified all the rumors, she continues to face a lot of trolls online.
