Just a short time after a sperm whale was found dead on the seashore at Hunstanton, another three sperm whales were washed up lifeless on the Skegness beach in Lincolnshire. The huge mammals were last found on the coast of Norfolk before they were washed off the sands.
“All three are massive, beautiful animals, and it’s just such a shame to see them on the beach in that way,”said James Gilbert from East Lindsey District Council.

Local councils placed a cordon around the two dead whales lying on the Skegness beach, hoping the authorities would take time to examine the carcasses before removing them.
