A duvet cover is a great way to hide any damage in a duvet, however, getting the duvet into the duvet cover seems to be the very hard part. You may have already tried wrestling with it just to ensure the corners are aligned well, or maybe tried to squeeze it all in at once. And at the end of the day, none of it seem to work.
Finally, there is a solution to the tedious task of changing duvet covers. A group of ladies have come up with an amazing way to avoid the struggle and stress with a method they call “the burrito method”.
For the burrito method to work, you might probably need a pal to assist you. First, you have to turn the duvet cover inside out and put it on the mattress with its opening at the foot of the bed. And then, put the duvet on top and hold the two bottom corners of the duvet cover to the top. You can now begin at the head of the bed and roll the duvet like a sausage to the foot of the bed. Once you reach the end, put the end of the duvet inside of the cover. Lastly, unroll the rolled duvet up to the head of the bed.
Although it might take you several tries to get this right, things will be easier with the help of a friend. When you master this technique, you can change your duvet covers any time you want or whenever you feel like it.
