The Great Minnesota Get-Together is happening in a couple of months at the beautiful gardens of Minnesota State Fairgrounds. The fair will have hundreds of events on the line and new food for this year’s social affair are introduced from their local restaurants.
We have gathered 10 of the most delectable menus that you can try on for this upcoming fair so you won’t have to miss other activities trying to choose what and where to take your meals in between.
Hamburger hot dog with bacon, cheese and a pieces of jalapeño on the bun awaits you at Gass Station Grill, located on the southeast outside corner of the Food Building of Cooper Street.
Butter Chicken Samosas
Hot Indian at Taste of Midtown Global Market in the International Bazaar has yummy pastries filled with chicken in a tomato curry sauce along with green chutney dip.
Famous Dave’s has something for your hungry tummy, a fried St. Louis-style spare ribs tossed in buffalo sauce,served with blue cheese dressing and celery. The resto is located on the north side of West Dan Patch Avenue between Liggett and Chambers streets west of the Grandstand.
Chilled Bread Pudding
A unique pudding will melt your heart at Blue Moon Dine-In Theater, located at the northeast corner of Carnes Avenue and Chambers Street. It is made of chilled custardy bread in four different flavors: Old Fashioned Challah, Fudge Brownie Batter, Corn Bread and Gluten-Free. You also get a lot of options with the glaze like classic vanilla, berries, caramel graham cracker and hot choco.
These delicious pastries filled with sweetened ricotta cheese cream from Mancini’s Al Fresco are found on the north side of Carnes Avenue between Nelson and Underwood streets.
Cowboy Dave’s Cluck & Moo
At The Blue Barn, you will definitely find a heavenly treat made of roasted beef and grilled chicken in beef gravy, crispy onions, mustard BBQ sauce and a mashed potato siding. It is located at West End Market, south of the History & Heritage Center.
Grandma Deb’s Snicker Bar Salad
The Blue Barn will also satisfy your sweet tooth with these chopped Snickers bars and Granny Smith apples with vanilla pudding, whipped cream and caramel sauce.
Grilled Venetian-Style Pizza
On the north side of Carnes Avenue between Nelson and Underwood streets, Mancini’s Al Fresco presents a variety of pizza grilled over an open flame. It comes in three flavors, Margherita, Farm Fresh and Spicy Salami.
Deep Fried Ribs
Ball Park Cafe will entice you with their smoked and breaded baby back ribs served with BBQ sauce. Follow the savory smell to the east side of Underwood Street between Dan Patch and Carnes avenues outside The Garden.
These fried bite-size balls served with ranch dipping sauce are made up of sweet corn kernels, bacon, jalapeños and cream cheese. They can be found at Frontier Bar on the south side of Carnes Avenue at the intersection of Chambers Street.
