Supplies Needed:

  • 10 half-pint mason jars
  • baking sheet

Instructions:

Step 1: Root Beer Cake

1. Prepare a batch of ten mason jars and spray on some non-stick spray before doing anything else

2. Make your cake mix and use root beer instead of water for the amount indicated in package, then add 2 tablespoons of A&W dessert topper last

3. Poor batter in your mason jars in equal amount, place on a baking sheet, then heat it up in an oven at 350 degrees, and bake for 20 minutes max

4. While baking, you can make your vanilla filling. (See instructions in next page.)

5. After the cakes are baked, turn jars upside down until cakes fall out intact. If they stick on the jar, you may run a small knife around the edges to pull them out
