Have you ever loved pizza so much you wanted to learn more about it?
If so, then you should fly to Manchester right away. Manchester Metropolitan University collaborated with Pizza Hut to offer a course where you can learn how to make your beloved pizza as part of a new degree.
You wont just be taught how to make the heavenly food or create a case study on which types of pizza are more delicious. The course will teach you more than that!
The course will also offer you sufficient knowledge to run your very own successful pizzeria. You will learn things like financial analysis as well as health and safety 101.
Kathryn Austin, Pizza Hut’s Human Resource director, said, “Over the next few years we will work hard to provide our apprentices and team members with the best training and development so that we can equip them with skills for life, not just for working in a restaurant.”
Over the next five years, they will cater to 1,500 student enrollees. In light of the subject, KFC and McDonald’s are said to offer the same apprenticeships across the United Kingdom.
Other quirky courses that are offered in universities in the United Kingdom are Ethical Hacking (University of Abertay, Dundee) and Baking Technology Management (South Bank University, London).
