The Lancashire-based business Baby Boo Scan offers a one-of-a-kind 3-D scan for parents-to-be. The expectant moms and dads do not only get a visual presentation of their child, they also get to hang the printout on their walls.

The 3-D projected face resembles a mask, and it gives the parents a chance to see an accurate representation of their unborn children before they are brought into this world.
The service is enough to cause a new trend for expectant parents as it is designed to help them bond with their kids. The 3-D prints for pregnancy scans are not new as the same method has been used before to let blind pregnant mothers feel their unborn babies.
However, Baby Boo has noted that the service is not designed to make any medical diagnoses. Should there be issues during the pregnancy, they recommend that the parents seek professional advice.
“People do think it’s a little odd, but it’s similar to creating casts of baby’s feet or hands,” Baby Boo owner, Katie Kermode, said in an interview with The Mirror. “It’s actually a really lovely keepsake to cherish.”
