Judy Brown, 47, thought that her growing stomach meant that she was just gaining so much weight and that it was just one of the usual menopausal symptoms. But the pain got too bad that Judy’s husband, Jason, felt the need to bring his wife to the hospital.
After a few tests, the couple was greeted with the news of their life. The doctor happily informed them, “It’s good news, you don’t have any blockages or anything. You are pregnant—and you are going to have her now.”
An hour later, the couple welcomed their first child, a healthy baby girl who weighed eight pounds.
Judy and Jason have been together for 22 years, and they have always wanted a child. But since they are already in their late forties, they’ve learned to accept the fact that bearing a child is close to impossible. That is why the couple was dumbstruck when the doctor broke the news.
Although she had no idea that she was coming, Judy was sure that their baby would be a daddy’s girl.
Jason still feels like everything is just a dream. He never thought of carrying his newborn child in his harms. Jason once shared that when his wife complained about her growing bump, he didn’t think it was something related to gaining weight since her stomach felt hard instead of soft.
Jason wanted their first baby to be the only one, so he immediately had vasectomy before he could change his mind.
The newly hailed parents borrowed a stroller and a bassinet from the hospital so they could take their baby girl home. It was reported that their family and friends were already preparing for the family’s surprise arrival.
