After recovering from the major operation, Richard got the chance to personally meet 28-year-old Rebekah Aversano, the sister of the man who owned the face he’s now wearing.

Rebekah traveled miles to meet Richard so she could see the man who now has her brother’s face. Rebekah’s brother, Joshua, dreamed of serving the country by becoming a Marine someday. Unfortunately, he was instantly killed after being hit by a car back in 2012.
