One particular touching event in the comedian’s life has been kept a secret to the public, until his death.
Back in 2004, Williams was arranged to meet with Jessica Cole, a young girl from Greensboro, North Carolina, who was dying from cancer.
Her final wish has been to meet Williams , whom she considers her hero after his role in Mrs. Doubtfire.
Jessica became too sick to travel to California so Williams chartered a private plane and flew to North Carolina himself. Of course, he would not wish to fail the dying girl. They spent an afternoon playing cards and watching football.
Mark Cole, Jessica’s father, said he acted as if he had known his daughter all his life. They had a lot of fun together.
Two months later, Jessica passed away.
