Some people do amazing things just to bring a smile to someone else’s face. It doesn’t matter to them if it’s their family, friends, or even complete strangers. These good samaritans are just kindhearted by nature, and they can’t help but do what they think is best to make other people happy, like the guy in the following story.
He was just a simple a customer for his taxi driver. His driver was simply planning on just waiting in the car until he was done. But he didn’t make his driver wait. Instead, he invited him to tag along, and both of them looked like they had a blast.
Liam Murphy did something amazing that we all think only happens on television.
Murphy decided to check out the indoor theme park Ferrari World in the United Arab Emirate, where his job sent him. He visited the place because he wanted to mix business with pleasure.
Liam struck up a conversation with Shakiha, the driver of the taxi he took to get there. He learned that Shakiha had never been on a roller coaster before and had never even been to a park.
Then Liam thought that he shouldn’t be the only one to have an amazing time. So he decided to change Shakiha’s plan on staying in the car for four hours.
Liam took the driver with him for a day filled with fun and excitement.
Shakiha got zero to 100 real quick, because his first ever ride was none other than the world’s fastest roller coaster.
Shakiha has lived in Abu Dhabi for fourteen years, a country with a not-so-great treatment of laborers.
Despite Shakiha feeling ill on their adventure, he still had a great time according to Liam.
“Every time he drops passengers off, he stays in the car for the day. I decided to bring him along for the laugh. He was great entertainment. I bought him some pizza on the way home. His family are in India, and he said he sends money home each month. I felt sorry for him,” Murphy mentioned this during his Buzzfeed interview.
Kudos to you, Liam, for being the miracle for Shakiha.
Some people just want to make other people smile. Some people just have that urge to make other people’s days a bit more awesome. Some people choose to become the miracle for others. Well done, Liam Murphy.
