When you have superstars Enrique Iglesias, Sting, and Jennifer Lopez perform on your wedding, you know that it’s going to be the center of media attention. But if you happen to be an oil billionaire’s son, then that won’t be much of a surprise.
The Internet has been talking about the luxurious wedding of Said Gutseriev and dental student Khadija Uzhakhovs in Moscow for a good reason. It was the complete epitome of what money can buy. Details from the lavish dress to the over-the-top decorations were enough to leave the public gaping in awe.

Khadija and Said have an eight-year difference, she’s 20 years old while he’s 28. The wedding was reportedly paid for by Said’s father and oil tycoon Mikhail Gutseriev, whose business operates around Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan. The family also owns a chain of luxury hotels and shopping centers.
The newlyweds made sure that the guests who attended arrive in style by hiring chauffeur-driven luxury cars Rolls Royce and Bentley, but that was just the tip of the iceberg in this ceremony. Considering the dress, the decorations and the pricey performers, it seemed like nothing in this ceremony was cheap.
The bride showed up in an Elie Saab dress. The Lebanese designer’s bridal line runs for about $25,000. But rumor has it that Khadija’s custom-made dress was fashioned with precious gems, so the price tag of the gown went all the way up to a million dollars. The details of the gown were so heavily embellished, causing it to weigh up to a staggering 28 pounds!
To complete her regal look, Khadija accessorized with a sparkling diamond necklace and tiara. But as if that wasn’t enough, she had a matching handbag to go with her wedding gown.
No wedding is ever complete without some singing and dancing. For this ceremony, instead of asking a relative to render a song number, they opted to hire actual singers. Police front man, Sting, performed during the night, and so did Enrique Iglesias, who appeared looking casual in a baseball cap and plain shirt.
Jennifer Lopez appeared to be the most awaited guest that night though. The songstress was reported paid a whooping $1 million to perform three songs. Needless to say, J.Lo did not disappoint as she belted out If You Had My Love, Dance Again and Get Right in three costume changes including a silver skintight jumpsuit. Her performance, however, was met with criticism for being so scantily dressed in a Muslim ceremony. Lopez did not seem to be unfazed by that though, as she was seen privately shopping the following day with her handsome paycheck.
