The first time we heard about the Californian supercar startup Trion that runs with 2,000 horsepower, we were not convinced it was true. In fact, we even called the car vaporware to confirm if it this was indeed correct. It’s now over a year since the company first announced plans for the supercar, and no one expected it to make a comeback.
However, it looks like it’s back in business. In fact, they’ve shown off a life life-size model of its planned supercar, which they named ‘the nemesis’ and showed it to potential customers at a private event in California.
You have to realize that only multi-millionaires got a glimpse of the Nemesis, but Alejandro Salomon managed to take a video of the supercar and explained that Trion is planning to build multiple versions of it. He also added that one of the Nemesis will be a limited edition model with a $2.2 million price tag that includes not only the car, but a share of the company.
Alejandro Salomon is a millionaire and an owner of several supercars. This is why he had a pass for the private event. He’s also the man behind YouTube channel Salomondrin.
“The other versions will be a standard Nemesis N1-RR priced from $1.6 million, and a tamer Nemesis N1-GT that will have a 1,400-HP output, a roofless design, and a correspondingly lower price tag,” Salomon said.
With a top speed of over 290 mph, The Nemesis is estimated to run at 0-60 mph within 2.8 seconds. Not to mention that it comes with a twin-turbocharged V-8 engine and an eight-speed sequential gearbox. Oh, and wait, they are still planning to announce the ‘Predator’ mode of the Nemesis. Now, that’s one hell of a car!
