Can you imagine two football fields floating on the sea?
Yes, that’s the size of the world’s largest ‘gigayacht’ and it is set to set sail and eclipse all other superyachts!
The ‘gigayacht’ will be comprised of nine decks, two helipads, luxurious cabins for 50 guests, including several VIP suites, a theatre/stage for 126 guests, and a cinema. With a whopping cost of $950 million, you can enjoy these exceptional amenities and more!
Called Double Century, she will rise 88 feet above the water and at 656-feet long. It will be 130 feet longer than the biggest superyacht around today, the Azzam, owned by the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al-Nayan.
Double Century was created with the evolution of ‘gigayachts’ in mind. Her designer, Christopher Seymour, wanted the concept to be something magnificent. He wants her to be respected and admired for what she is, not because of who owns her, built or designed her, but for her own merits.
Mr. Seymours is known for his innovative designs over many different categories and through his creation of the Double Century, he will bring his exceptional skills to the superyacht market and open a new era of more sophisticated luxury.
The boat will be marketed through yacht-brokers 4Yacht, based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The company says the lucky buyer can expect to own the boat in four years’ time.
“What Double Century needs is someone with vision, someone who wants to give life to an exceptional vessel, make it their own and put a distinctive stamp on the luxury yachting industry,” said Craig Timm, president of 4Yacht.
