Located in Berlin’s trendy Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg district, the nightclub is a reused phone booth started by German telecommunications company Deutsche Telekom. Since like any other phone booths, the Teledisko is quite cramped, it can only accommodate two people at a time.
It may not look much on the outside, but once you get inside, the Teledisko has all the equipment that a typical nightclub has. It has a touchscreen that allows you to play and select your favorite music, a disco ball, stroboscope, smoke machine, light effects, and dry ice.
Although the interior is not as spacious as the usual club, giving you not enough space to take a selfie, worry not because Teledisko is equipped with built-in cameras that capture your memorable night. The best part about the nightclub is that it ensures that only you and your chosen friend can gain access to the party, via coin-operated entry.
Originally, Deutsche Telekom remodeled only three phone booths and turned them into Telediskos. Two Telediskos are at fixed locations in Berlin and the last one, being a mobile one, can be moved anywhere.
Due to the high demand, it appears that additional tiny party booths will be made to satisfy consumers. Deutches Telekom is now renovating more yellow booths and transforming them into nightclubs. For only $380 a piece, you can have your very own phone booth party!
