2. Haleakala, Maui, Hawaii, USA
If ever you visit Hawaii, make it one of your to-dos to witness the sun rising at the top of Haleakal, the East Maui Volcano. The volcano is quite huge as it makes up more than 75 percent of Maui island. Visitors can take a 45-minute drive to the top, then hike into the big crater. For more adventurous souls, you can climb the mountain and witness the sunrise at the summit of Mt. Fuji. The climb would take about four to seven hours, depending on which trail you choose. For inexperienced climbers, it is better if you go during the official climbing season (early June to mid-September) because there will be no or just a little snow, and the weather would be mild.
7. Kruger National Park, South Africa
Witnessing the sun rise at the Kruger National Park in northeast South Africa would be another unforgettable morning you’ll ever have. Because the place is close to the equator, the sun will appear to be bigger. While waiting for the sun to rise, visitors can also enjoy the beautiful natural views of the park.
8. Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, India
Rajasthan in India is also called “The Golden City” because the building and houses in the area are made of yellowish sandstone that gives the city a golden glow. One of the biggest forts in the world is also found in the city, the Jaisalmer Fort.

Masada is a fortress on the eastern edge of the Judean Desert and the edge of the Dead Sea. It is a good place to watch and capture a sunrise.
