The structure’s imposing exterior was built in an undulating, wave-like patter in alternate shades of grey to evoke a Balinese rice terrace. The creation of 15,000 square meters of cascading foliage, waterfalls, wall planters, and sky gardens throughout the property is inspired by the hotel-inside-a-garden concept. The back-to-nature theme is continued in the lobby, with its water features, moss-inspired carpets, and natural wood elements.

Gadgetry and machinery that are capable of measuring things with impressive accuracy are being utilized to help conserve resources. The sixteen-story property uses heat pumps to generate hot water, LED light bulbs and motion sensors, solar panels on the roof, energy-efficient air-conditioning, open-air guest corridors, and rain-harvesting and water-recycling program.

Due to the hotel’s seriousness in implementing its eco-friendly ethos, it has been given the highest award by the Singaporean government, which is the Green Mark Platinum Award, along with several other awards.

The designs of the rooms are minimalist with an emphasis on natural colors and textures. The best features highlight the hotel’s wood furniture and mossy headboards. The attractive floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city accents the city’s beauty. The rooms (below) are designed with business travelers in mind with its simple and smart design.

There’s a ton of activities that you can participate in during your stay. The hotel features a unique 300-meter nature trail lined with waterfalls and lush gardens. The hotel also has a glass-fronted gym on the fifth-floor wellness center, and it’s just one of the many striking features the hotel has to offer.

Outside the gym there is an infinity pool that has birdcage-shaped pods that can comfortably accommodate four or five people. After all of that rigorous activities, you might need the St. Gregory Spa’s holistic, all-natural treatments to relax your tensed muscles.

The Orchid Club Lounge is a quiet place in which you can get your work done in the afternoon, while enjoying coffee and tea served all day alongside the dramatic 360-degree views. The lounge is situated on the second floor, where there’s ample meeting space and several private work pods, each equipped with a laptop.
