After a worth $5.5 million extensive renovations and refurbishments, &Beyond Benguerra Island has finally reopened. Now, it doesn’t only feature classy and sophisticated designs, but also arrangements and style that reflect both African and Portuguese heritage.
Found on the second biggest island off the coast of Mozambique, &Beyond Benguerra Island lies at the heart of a protected marine conservation area, thus, offering pristine beaches and untainted coral reefs filled with a variety of marine species.
The hotel is surrounded by world-class diving sites, which makes it an ideal beach getaway for those who love swimming and snorkelling. It is even a paradise for many divers because it is filled with tropical fish species.
Though the 13-room resort is found in an area with sandy and golden beaches, the interior is a wonder comprised of wetlands, fresh water lakes, and forests.
Each of the rooms in the resort has thatched roof, two-person soaking tubs, and king-size, four poster beds, making each guest’s stay, a truly comfortable experience. Aside from that all bedrooms lead to a beautiful wooden deck, equipped with infinity pools and hanging daybeds.
