Looking for an exclusive adventure in the African wild? Try staying at Tarkuni Villa located in Tswalu Kalahari game reserve, the largest private game reserve in South Africa.
Owned by Oppenheimer family, Tarkuni Villa was built originally as a private safari retreat since 1998. With the help of a renowned interior designer, Boyd Ferguson, the villa underwent a major renovation adding a spa and exclusive decks, upgrading the pool as well as some structures around the villa before it was opened to the public.
To get into the villa, the guests will have to ride in a Pilatus PC-12 jet owned by the Oppenheimer family themselves which lands at the private airstrip in Tswalu Kalahari.
The villa has five suites, spacious living spaces with a veranda, dining area, pool and tsala. It has a spa therapy suite, an outdoor shower and contemporary decks leading to the private terraces. On the mezzanine area, library and games room can be found.
If you want to explore the wild, this villa has two viewing vehicles that you can use with a dedicated guide.
While in the area, you can explore the safari as you go through the traditional game drives, bush walks, horseback excursions and other adventures laid down for you during your stay.
Get a luxurious vacation at the Savannah grasslands by staying in this rustic but modern abode. Tarkuni villa is available on an exclusive basis at $7,190 per night.
