Jeremy and Rachelle Garrett have always had it in mind to seal their love in a meaningful way. But they wanted to steer clear of traditional ceremonies with lavish celebrations while still keeping its intimacy. So the adventurous soulmates decided on an idea that was one-of-a- kind—they spent the money supposedly for a wedding to fly to Iceland and elope there.

“A big, traditional wedding was never something that I wanted,” Rachelle said in an interview with The Huffington Post. “I never had any dreams of my perfect wedding like my friends did when we were growing up.”
The couple flew from their hometown in Ontario to Iceland, tagging photographer Troy Moth to capture the moment. The trip was a first for the couple, who toured around the country riding a van in search of all things wild and beautiful. It was both a wanderlust and photographer’s dream as each picture chronicled their journey.
