It’s summertime and ocean lovers are headed to the waters. Since beaches are getting boring and crowded, let’s take the summer into the seas for some peaceful yet fantastic fun. And what better way to do that than hopping on board a cool boat or yacht.

Here are some futuristic concepts and great modern examples of private and yachts that might suit your taste.

The Ultimate Machine Room

The Mangusta 165 Yacht is equipped with MTU 16V-4000-M93L diesel engines making it a top-of-the-line superyacht. This $50 million luxury yacht with its50 meter palace currently holds the title for the largest open yacht in the world.

The Land-Crawling Yacht

Iguana 29 of the Iguana Yachts is the world’s first “ground boat” as it is like a fish that can crawl into land. It has retractable caterpillars on both sides making it possible for the vessel to crawl over rocks and navigate treacherous sand bars. So imagine yourself steering this ‘fish’ out of the waters and into a desert after a cruise on the ocean.

The “Flying Yacht”

A concept of Phil Pauley, this handsome “Cruiser Series” uses hydrofoils to rise above the water and run at a speed of 180 km/hr. Then it suddenly spreads its wings and glides over the waters like some stainless steel flying fish. Its bigger version can transform into a submarine and goes underwater. It comes in four different sized boats – the Yacht Cruiser, Sub Cruiser, Fly Cruiser and Power Cruiser.

The Volitan is yacht concept designed by Turkish firm Designnobis Studio.

It has three levels with a 25-meter swimming pool and a movie theater.

Here’s one “floating island” that is incredibly ultimate in size. With inspiration taken from the beautiful landscapes of Monaco, this yacht could outplay Roman Abamovich’s “Eclipse” as the largest and the most expensive personal yacht in the world. This 500ft “floating island” boasts of miniatures of the world-renowned Monte Carlo Casino, Hotel de Paris, Cafe de Paris, La Rascasse, the Loews Hotel as well as swimming pools and tennis courts. Its magnificent interiors makes it fir for kings and queens.
