Looking for a big splash this summer?
If you can afford to go on a trip outside the country, you can check the Wild Wadi Water Park, an outdoor water park located in Dubai in the Middle Eastern country of the United Arab Emirates.
It is situated in the area of Jumeirah, facing the famous Burj Al Arab hotel. The resort is themed after the tale of Juha, a prominent character from an Arabian folklore.
At Wild Wadi, families, especially the kids, can enjoy their time in the resort’s wave pool and interconnecting multiple water slides. They also can try the Flood River, which produces meter-high waves. If you are looking for something more relaxing, the lazy river of Juha’s Journey is the most suitable for you.
For people who seek adventure and thrill, check out their Tantrum Alley and Burj Surj where you will plunge into a downhill journey through water slides and three whirlpools. For more adrenaline rush, ride their Master Blasters which will take you in an aquatic roller coaster journey. This gravity-defying ride features high-powered water jets that shoot the guests up in the air at 15 meters above the ground level.
Another attraction of the park is an 18-meter waterfall that goes off every 10 minutes.
You can also surf in the waves of their Wipeout and Riptide Flowriders which produces a staggering seven tons of water to recreate a realistic wave that are ideal for body-boarding, knee-boarding, or stand-up flowboarding during private events.
Previously, the water park held the record for the largest waterslide outside of North America. However, they had to take it down to make way for the construction of two other rides.
