LEGO released a new book called Beautiful LEGO: Wild! that features some of the most beautifully made LEGO sculptures of animals. Here are some of the book’s highlights.

Tom Poulson, whose sculptures of birds became an official LEGO set this year, said, “To me, LEGO is the best puzzle in the world. There are infinite combinations, and it’s possible to create pretty much anything your mind can imagine.”
Sean Kenney, one of the featured builders, believes that capturing the essence of a subject makes creating art with LEGO more than just connecting LEGO pieces. He said, “It has to have life. My sculptures need to be rooted in personal expression.” Kenney’s “Peacock” uses 68,827 pieces.
