Over the years, a variety of dance movements have been introduced and created. However, this “Matrix-like” dance moves seem to have originated far ahead in the future.
This is Kenichi Ebina. He is a Japanese performer, who gained worldwide acclaim after winning the eighth season of America’s Got Talent in 2013.
His performance was dubbed as “dance-ish” because it featured unique self-taught dancing styles that combine the elements of storytelling, acting, and a variety of dance moves, such as hip-hop, freestyle, ethnic dance, jazz, and martial arts.
In 2006 and 2007, Ebina won seven times at the Apollo Amateur Night. At the end of the season, he was hailed the grand champion. He was since featured on a television animated series, called Angelina Ballerina: The Next Steps, where he talked about his stints involving the story of a mannequin brought to life.
In his acts, Ebina interacts with different characters on a video screen behind him, all of which have been played and created by him.
