Gray Malin, a Dallas native, graduated in 2007 at Emerson College in Boston. He majored in marketing and photography. He has since had his masterpieces displayed in various locations, such as the Julia Dean Gallery in Venice, Dallas Museum of Art, and David Streets Gallery in Beverly Hills. While he lives in West Hollywood, California, he works independently with art buyers and online curators.
One day, he decided to quit his day job working for the President of Paramount Pictures. It became the turning point in his career. Later on, he was chosen to become a vendor at the world-renowned Melrose Fairfax Flea Market, which happens every Sunday of the entire year in Los Angeles. In this job, he was able to merge his two passions – marketing and photography.
Gray has also ventured into a small flea market in Los Angeles and created a fine art photography company, where he offers his work all across the country within a couple of years. Since it opened on January 2008, thousands of his art pieces were sold.
He is currently working on a series, which he calls, À la Plage, À la Piscine. Here, he captures life on the beaches from doorless helicopters. Because of this project, he was able to travel the world and showcase results that are simply amazing.
