If you have seen the 1996 film Joe’s Apartment, which is about the titular character living in an apartment filled with cockroaches, then imagine it happening in real life. Yes, we feel you, we’re cringing at the mere thought of it too.

A house in Pana, Illinois, had to be burned down because of a heavy infestation, and a mote had to be built to prevent it from spreading to other buildings. The scene was an inferno of dead cockroaches, and we’re guessing the neighborhood got to breathe a loud sigh of relief at that point.
This type of news can come off really bizarre, but for every cockroach hater in this world, it is good to know that the authorities got everything under control.
