While on a vacation in Cape Town, South Africa, a photographer named Chris Schofield met a friendly man who can faultlessly mimic the sounds of a variety of animals. He is William Jafta.
Dubbed as the “Animal Sound Man,” Jafta has the unique ability of perfectly copying the sounds of farm animals, to the point where you think it really sounds real.
Jafta can follow the sounds of about eleven animals, including cats, donkeys, chickens, cows, horses, and dogs. He revealed that his secret to his perfect impersonation is daily practice.
Now, Chris’s video of Jafta reproducing various animal sounds has gone viral. In fact, it immediately got more than 500,000 views after it was shared on social media on May 26, 2015.
Jafta now uses his talent for charity. The money he collects while performing goes to the local street kids all over Cape Town.
