The staggering number of incident of mass shootings prompted America to tighten its regulations on assault weapons as similar debate over gun control started again. At a gun show, Crowder went to several weapon vendors and tried to buy a gun without giving a license. The hilarious result that was captured on a hidden camera was featured on his Web-based show Louder with Crowder.
“Fully automatic?” a vendor asks Crowder. “Oh, no. I don’t have a class three license.”
Also shown in the video were clips from Pres. Barack Obama, Democratic presidential candidates Bernie Sanders and Hilary Clinton, as well as several reporters and personalities remark on the the accessibility of guns in the United States, particularly automatic firearms. It was reported that one can purchase without having a license.
“So I cannot buy a fully automatic?” Crowder asks another vendor.
“No. No one can really unless they have like a super-crazy license,” the vendor replies.
The comedian then tried to ask if it would be possible to buy a semi-automatic and carry it home with him within the day.
“There’s no way to do that,” the vendor replied. He said that if Crowder wants to purchase a gun at the show, it must be registered first with the ATF before he can bring it home.
“You could come in here with a million dollars in cash and I still wouldn’t give it to you.” And that settles it.
