Former Playboy playmate Holly Madison wrote a best-selling book called Down the Rabbit Hole, which chronicles her time spent in the Playboy mansion as the girlfriend of Hugh Hefner. It is a very revealing book that does not hold anything back. It proves that there is a lot of ugliness behind the glamour of being one of the famous Playboy Bunnies.

1. Holly has learned to be a feminist after her experience of living with Hugh Hefner for years.
“‘How can you be a feminist, you lived with Hugh Hefner!’ But I feel like there comes a time in every woman’s life when you have to become a feminist. You can play dumb as long as you want. It’s not going to last, and it’s not going to be fulfilling.”
2. Her friends were disgusted with her relationship with the much older man.
3. She says her sex life inside the mansion was scheduled every Wednesday and Friday.
When asked whether a sexual relationship was a requirement to living in the mansion, she said, “[Hef’s girlfriends] knew it was kind of a quote-unquote requirement for living there, and expected. And it had kind of a chore vibe, I felt. The girls would stand there and they’d kind of like put on a show to create a silhouette that something was going on. Hef couldn’t hear very well out of one ear, and I could hear them all talking and making fun of what was going on and gossiping.”
