Madonna‘s Rebel Heart album may not be getting as much attention as she wanted and she may have made a backwards tumble at the Brit Awards when one of her backup dancers took off her long cape, but the queen of pop still have some aces up her sleeve. She recently came out with a video that proves she is not ready to put down the gauntlet yet.
The 56-year-old singer debuted her freshest single on Tidal, a super venture drenched heavily with celebrities, and the “Bitch, I’m Madonna” video is also super laden with appearances of pop celebrities. Basically everyone who’s anyone is in the video.
So, aside from tons of dancers, a uniformed cop, and a couple of super hot Asian girls in a bathtub with their nipples covered in electrical tape, here are the peeps who dropped in for a cameo in Madonna’s new video:
First, there is Rita Ora, lip-syncing to the lyrics of the song, at the hotel hallway where Madonna was crawling through.
Next is Chris Rock, he may not be a musician, but he sure scored himself an appearance in Madonna’s video.
And, then came the chorus of sock puppets in a rave. They may not have the same level of fame as the other celebrities popping in the video, but they are sure adorable.
After the fluorescent sock puppies comes Miley Cyrus in her pixie wings and glittery face makeup. Hers is the first cameo from a pop star who was not really in the same room as Madonna’s hotel party.
There was another famous face, who is also not in the music scene, that made an appearance in the hotel party and that is fashion designer Alexander Wang, who did his own lip-syncing and sashaying to the pulsing beat of Madonna’s music.
Right behind Wang is Diplo, who co-produced tracks featured on the Rebel Heart album of Madonna.
Then, there is a a micro-cameo from Beyoncé, who is also lip-syncing to the song. Like Miley, she is being beamed into the video from who knows where.
Next up is Katy Perry, who looks like she is really grooving to the music, wherever it was she had her cameo filmed.
The best cameo in the video is that of Madonna’s son, David Banda, who shows the world of his dance moves. He also proves to everyone that he knows how to play to the cam, just like his mom.
When David shouts “Who do you think you are?” into the camera, the screen flashes to a Kanye West appearance that’s so quick, you could say it is somehow subliminal, but which isn’t because he appears in almost the same way further into the video.
And, because she is the featured performer in “Bitch, I’m Madonna”, Nicki Minaj also popped up several times in the video. She is not actually present in the party though, but can be seen on a screen held by a number of the dancers.

Many say that Madonna’s new “Bitch, I’m Madonna” video is the queen of pop’s answer to Taylor Swift‘s “Bad Blood” video, which is filled with cameos. In fact, this has given rise to a lot of comparisons made between the two.
And, while Madonna’s video is filled with some big named celebrities in music and fashion, Swift’s features her real-life girlfriends like Selena Gomez, Ellie Goulding, Lena Dunham, and Hayley Williams, among others. Of course, there are also other hotties like Jessica Alba and Cindy Crawford, but basically they are just women who have been part of the younger singer’s life.
So, how about you? What do you think of the two videos? Which between the two is better for you?
To help you make your decision, why don’t you watch Swift’s “Bad Blood” video, which features Kendrick Lamar.
