Jennifer Lawrence has to be one of the most sought-after actresses of this decade. So it was understandable when the creators of YouTube channel Smosh sought her out as their next victim.
Smosh creators Anthony Padilla and Ian Hecox are known for pranking celebrities, but this time, they obviously chose the wrong girl to mess with.
The interview is supposed to end up with Padilla feeding awkward instructions to Hecox through an earpiece. He does so and even includes incredibly bad jokes with them.
Little do they know, Lawrence’s Mockingjay Part 2 co-stars Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson were in the other room with Smosh fan Dylan Miceli-Nelson. They too provided Lawrence with instructions.
The hilarious interview started with Hecox taking off his shoes, and Lawrence was instructed to look annoyed by his antics. We all know J. Law is bent for pretty much anything, so it was amusing to see her not acting like her usual funny self.
At a certain point, she stands up and ends the interview after the whole discussion about the shoes blows up. She remains in character until she catches up with her friends, leaving Hecox and Padilla flustered.
The people who were pranking them right back knew that they were victorious especially Miceli-Nelson, who was the mastermind behind it all. Lawrence eventually emerged of course and revealed to disheveled duo that they successfully got them good.
We can’t help but marvel at what a pro Lawrence can be in different situations.
The video was to benefit a charity called Prank It FWD, which uses light-hearted pranks for good causes. This particular one was for Miceli-Nelson who suffers Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
For every 1,000 views and social media share the video gets, a dollar will be given to the charity.
As if we couldn’t have any reason to love Jennifer Lawrence even more, she did get a good laugh and hugged Hecox, apologizing for putting him in an awkward situation. It’s good to see the tables turned every once in a while, isn’t it?
