Road safety is often hard to come by in today’s fast paced world.
With several new car models being build faster than roads, it does not come as a surprise that the risk in getting involved in a road accident is high. One of the biggest obstacles that motorists often encounter when navigating through a two way lane is when they can’t see the road ahead if they have plans of taking over larger vehicles.

Korean tech giant Samsung has devised an excellent way to answer this dilemma on the road.
Samsung recently released the appropriately named Samsung Safety Truck. This state of the art truck features a giant television screen attached on its back that lets drivers see the road ahead before attempting to pass or overtake the vehicle. The truck uses a simple system of monitors being mounted on the back of a truck that is wirelessly connected to a camera in front.
The tech giant aims to prevent road related accidents that is caused by overtaking and sudden braking. A prototype was recently tested on the roads of Argentina where two lane roads and traffic accidents are quite common and one of the leading causes of death.
According to a spokesperson from Samsung, a series of tests are still required to ensure that the technology Samsung used complies with national safety protocols and receives the essential permits and approvals that will make the Safety Truck road ready.
It is further confirmed by the words below:
“So far Samsung has been able to confirm that the technology works and that this idea can definitely save the lives of many people,”
This revolutionary product from Samsung justifies that technology can also be used to create products that can make the world a safer place for everyone.
