‘We All Float Down Here’: Donut Company Offers Creepy Clown Delivery Service

,

Pennywise the Dancing Clown has already become the poster boy (or poster thing, however you want to call “it”) for horror. But your nightmares are about to get much worse. Much, much worse.

Hurts Donut decided to cash in the blockbuster movie It by offering a creepy clown delivery service. Now before you say a big no, think about how fun it is to prank your family and friends when a real-life Pennywise shows up on their doorstep. After all, pranks are pretty fun when you’re in on it, right? Besides, whoever you’re pranking will surely forgive you once they see the delicious glazed donuts you’ve ordered especially for them.

Creepy Clown Delivery Service Scares Up Residents of Wichita

Want to pull a bone-chilling Halloween prank? This particular Hurts Donut shop in Wichita has you covered with their creepy clown delivery service. Picture this: a homicidal clown that probably ate off someone’s arm is holding an eerie red balloon and handing you a box of glazed doughnuts. For horror lovers, it is a dream come true. But for the rest of you folks, it must be your worst nightmare brought to life.

Nonetheless, it is still a fantastic prank to play on others. In fact, there are a lot of people who seem to be keen on the idea. Hurts Donut Shops have been getting a lot of requests for office deliveries to co-workers. Some parents are even requesting straight-to-bedroom deliveries for their kids!

Creepy Clown Delivery Service

Kas Clegg, co-owner of Hurts, had this to say in an interview with Guidelive:

“We always try to keep up with the trends, and clowns are trending right now. It’s fall and it’s getting close to Halloween, so we just wanted to spice it up a little bit and do a super fun delivery. We just love scary clowns.”

Clegg added that the movie It wasn’t the inspiration behind the idea. But considering how the delivery clowns are wearing Tim Curry‘s icon 1990 Pennywise costume, unsuspecting victims were quick to make a connection.

Though Hurts has multiple branches in the country, the creepy clown delivery service is only available in Dallas and for this Halloween season only. However, people who live in other states shouldn’t fret, as the delivery service’s popularity could prompt Hurts to expand to other places.
