PewDiePie is a Swedish Web-based producer and comedian who is known for his vlogs and commentaries on YouTube.
Although he started working at a hot dog stand to raise funds for his first set of videos, PewDiePie soon received a lot of financial support from his growing number of followers. In 2013, his channel was already recognized as one of the most subscribed on YouTube. Since then, his empire has continued to expand.
Today, this male YouTube sensation is taking his videos to the next level and gearing up for another show to be featured on YouTube Red, the $9.99 monthly subscription service of YouTube that allows you to stream videos ad-free, mostly original ones like what PewDiePie will be uploading.
Called Scare PewDiePie, the YouTube original will be a half-prank, half-reality show filled with “thrills, chills and laughter.”
The executive producers and the creator of The Walking Dead are currently working with Maker Studios to create thrilling scenes based on the Swedish comedian’s favorite games. By putting him into these situations and basically letting the magic happen.
Basically, PewDiePie will no longer scream at his monitor while playing games. He will be screaming and shouting over crazy things that the people from Hollywood will throw at him.
With the help of the guys behind The Walking Dead, PewDiePie’s followers will see amazing special effects.
Scare PewDiePie is just among the ten YouTube Originals that’ll be aired on YouTube Red, which is scheduled to launch in the United States on October 28.
