Finally, “he” is no more. Meet “her”.
Olympic Gold Medalist and Reality Star Bruce Jenner has finally revealed his highly anticipated identity as a female on the cover of the July issue of Vanity Fair.
In the now world famous image taken by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz, Caitlyn Jenner, 65, poses femininely in a off white silk body suit with her hands behind her back.
Jenner goes on to reflect on the touch decision he made to publicly transition from male to female. She says, “If I was lying on my deathbed and I had kept this secret and never ever did anything about it, I would be lying there saying, ‘You just blew your entire life.”
This morning, once the Vanity Fair cover was released, a verified Twitter account owned by Jenner shared exciting words to go along with the big reveal.
Jenner did a series of interviews with all of his children and step children over the last 3 months, documenting their reactions to his transition. With some of them being skeptical, Caitlin says Kim was the one who really has stepped up as a friend and mentor.
Also, Jenner’s step-daughter Khloe was among the first to show her support behind the VF cover, re-posting the cover with the caption “We were given this life because you were strong enough to live it! I couldn’t be prouder!!! Caitlyn, You are beautiful!!!”
Jenner’s 19-year-old supermodel daughter Kendall Jenner also posted the cover, stating: “Now that’s a cover.”
Katy Perry, a very close and very famous friend of the Jenner family, lovingly tweeted: “Caitlyn is a firework!”
