Revolutionary Shoes with Flexible HD Display Controlled by Your Phone

Introducing ShiftWear, the newest kicks from New York that are designed to impress and are perfect for all stylistas.

According to designer Coelho, the shoes are adaptable, it can be customized using your smartphone.

Using a smartphone app, the wearer can choose from a variety of static or animated designs, with adjustable color e-ink on the display screen for the ShiftWear.

Its color and design, which can be manipulated through wireless technology, can be viewed with direct sunlight, just like the designs on actual sneakers. The shoes will also be available in high, medium, and low tops.

As for the battery, as long as you only use static images, it can last up to a month.

Shiftwear has a lot of other great features. Coelho designed the shoes to be waterproof and machine washable. It is also coated with Kevlar fibers to protect it from the normal wear and tear.

The app for this revolutionary shoes will be available on iOS, Android, and Windows. Another plus point is, you can also create your own design,and you can choose whether to share it with your friends or sell them.

The company said, “It’s a designs software, marketplace, and social network, all in one.”

How exactly the amazing shoes work, the start-up company didn’t give any details, only that the technology for their project they said has been around for years.

To help them raise the money needed for the project’s mass production, the company enlisted at crowd-funding site Indiegogo, where you can order in advance the said shoes for as low as $150 or as high as $1,000.

The cheapest design is the ShiftWear L1 Classic, they defined it as “badass sneakers that let you display custom designs, right from your phone or tablet in seconds.”
