The World’s First 3D Printed Supercar Boasts a Special Secret…You Won’t Believe What it is

Now that more and more people are  caring for the environment, green cars are becoming popular choices as well. Knowing this fact, a California company has designed their very own green car, which they call Blade. It is the first ever 3D printed super car in the world. To make the prototype of the vehicle, the company has to create their own technology.

These days, there is a variety of green cars available on the market. But, this didn’t seem to bother the company.

Although most of the green cars are safe for the environment, manufacturing them is the other way around. For that reason, Divergent Microfactories designed Blade – a sleek supercar that proves that a good overall appearance doesn’t have to be sacrificed for the sake of green principles.

Blade has a 700HP bi-fuel engine that runs on compressed natural gas or gasoline. Within 2 seconds, it can travel up to 60mph.

In the near future, this supercar will be manufactured in a limited quantity. But until now, there is still no reports about its price. Divergent plans to franchise their 3D printing technology, to give other micro-factories a chance to make their own version of supercar.
