When you hear the word orgasm, you’re probably thinking about extreme pleasure. But for Amanda Gryce, getting the big O isn’t really a good thing.

Twenty-four-year-old Gryce has a quite rare medical condition called persistent genital arousal disorder (PGAD), which causes her to be sexually aroused even with the slightest vibration and have uncontrollable orgasm. While everyone thinks it must be something good, the young woman says it’s no laughing matter.

At the age of six, she started having orgasms, which deprived her of a normal life. According to Amanda, she found it annoying because the orgasm was often accompanied by a bearable yet aggravating pain.

Amanda has even thought of suicide to escape her predicament. But she has learned to brush away that thought, now that she has finally found relief with the aid of medical attention and love.

Twenty-two-year-old Stuart Triplett came into Amanda’s life. They met each other on a dating site, and even though abstinence is a part of Amanda’s health regiment, he fully supports her through her therapy and treatment.

Amanda sees positive results with her regular physical therapy sessions and by following her doctor’s advice.

Amanda remains optimistic. She hopes that with her health regiment, she will finally be able to escape the orgasmic prison she is in.
