Leviathan in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada

Canada’s Wonderland has a Swiss made roller coaster with over 306 feet tall which ranked as the seventh tallest and the eighth fastest roller coaster in the world.

Millennium Force in Cedar Point Amusement Park, Ohio

The fourteenth roller coaster in Cedar Point Amusement Park became the first Giga Coaster in the world during the early 2000’s. It stands 310 feet tall and it has a maximum speed of 93 miles per hour.

Created during the “Year of the Dragon”, Steel Dragon 2000 in Nagashima Spa Land amusement park holds the longest track length of 8,133 feet and is also known to be the sixth fastest roller coaster in the world.

Tower of Terror II in Queensland, Australia

 

Dreamworld’s Tower of Terror II was the first roller coaster to reach 100 mph speed around the globe and it is also one of the top five tallest roller coaster in the world.

Superman: Escape from Krypton in Valencia, California

During the late 1990’s, Superman: Escaped from Krypton became the tallest and the joint fastest roller coaster in the world. It is found in Six Flags Magic Mountain in California with over 400 feet tall.

Top Thrill Dragster in Sandusky, Ohio

Another roller coaster from Cedar Point who made it to our list is the Top Thrill Dragster. It was known as “The Race for the Sky” standing 420 feet with a top speed of 120 mph. It became the tallest and the fastest roller coaster in the world but was overthrown by Kingda Ka.

Kingda Ka in Jackson, New Jersey

Found in Six Flags Great Adventure amusement park, Kingda Ka holds the title s the world’s tallest and the second fastest roller coaster in the world. It has a height of 456 feet and it spreads 3,118 feet wide.
