Fans of the cartoon series Scooby Doo will undoubtedly recognize what this van is – it is a recreation of The Mystery Machine, the van used by ‘the gang’ to solve their, well, mysteries – hence the name.
While there have been many attempts at making a Mystery Machine, this particular one, based on a 1965 Ford Econoline has been heavily customized to look as close as possible to the actual reference.
Now, aside from the nice graphics and paint job of the exterior, it also features a rather interesting interior, with an L-shaped couch which faces a 26-inch LCD TV. Everything is color-coordinated, including the carpets, and even the freezer – yes, it has one of those too.
It is powered by a straight-six engine and now features new rear brakes. If you are tempted by this unique vehicle, then be present in Las Vegas, between September 20 – 22, where the van is set to be sold at auction by Barrett-Jackson.
