Somewhere in the hillside of Western Greece, a beautiful country modern house has been constructed. It was designed by Olivier Dwek, an architect based in Brussels.
Called “house T”, the humble abode is made up of several rooms, a terrace, and balconies that are all facing Kefalonia, an island within 30 miles from the mainland of the country. With its variety of framing views, the seascape becomes more dramatic.
To be sure that the modern house could be used the whole day, the shelter’s occupants were taken into consideration. The architect made sure that everybody is protected from the winds coming from the adjacent sea. He blurred the boundaries between the exterior and interior by using massive sliding doors leading to the patio.
